FOUNDER’S NOTE - Because Evil thrives in silence.

I founded CATUS to provide hope, both for myself and for others. I was becoming insurmountably frustrated watching human trafficking thrive in the United States. We are a nation with unmatched defense and intelligence capabilities, yet somehow we struggle to contain a crime so clearly defined. Why? Complacency.

Evil thrives in silence, so I sought to organize a voice for hundreds of millions of citizens who are against trafficking in the United States. The apparel we design makes this statement while also helping survivors of human trafficking get back on their feet. Supporting survivors, in and of itself, is a statement of non-complacency.

“MEOW Wait a minute, what is catus?”

We are Citizens Against Trafficking in the United States (CATUS), a registered Non-Profit & 501(c)(3) with a simple mission: (1) Support survivors of Human Trafficking and (2) raise awareness. We donate all profits to survivors of human trafficking, and we’re the only apparel line to do it.

We do this by selling chic apparel, which is always evolving with customer feedback. Ready for your catwalk?

We recently made a donation from our apparel profits to a phenomenal organization called Freedom a la Cart. Not only do they employ survivors, they establish services for every step of their journey. This includes housing, education, therapy, legal counsel, and more. There are many components that are necessary to escape a trafficking ring; if they are not all there, the survivor remains vulnerable to being trafficked again.

We were also joined two local State Representatives, and the CEO of Freedom a la Cart. We discussed and agreed that fighting Human Trafficking takes all of us, and we were glad to gather everyone at the table for a meeting of the minds.

We are grateful for all of the support and will thrive for this mission to continue. As long as there is trafficking, there will always be Citizens Against Trafficking.
